Amy Sue Schrenk, age 52, of Oriska, ND, passed away on August 31, 2023 at her home.
A celebration of Amy’s life and a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 5 th
at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel in Valley City. Visitation will be held on Tuesday
evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A livestream of Amy’s service and

Amy Sue Trautman, the daughter of Ramond and Evelyn (Kilen) Trautman, was born July 12, 1971 in Valley City, ND. She grew up and attended school in Oriska, ND where she graduated from High School. She was the wife of Julius Schrenk. They shared 31 years of marriage together. She was employed at CHI Friendship as a Job Coach. Amy enjoyed spending time with her new grandson, her daughters, her husband, and extended friends and family. She enjoyed coloring in her Adult Coloring Books with Sharpies. Amy loved fairies, her dog Winston, lilacs, Coca-Cola, puzzles, shopping, getting her hair and nails done, working with intellectually disability individuals, Corona with a lime, and watching scary movies. She will be remembered for her contagious smile and loving heart.
Amy Sue Schrenk is survived by her husband, Julius; her two daughters, Amanda and
Katelyn; her grandson, Havyn; her parents, T and Evelyn Trautmann; her sister, Teresa; and
many cousins, uncles, and aunts.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
