A memorial mass will be celebrated for Dr. Daron Scherr, age 46, of Ft. Myers, FL and formerly of Valley City at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Valley City with Msgr. Dennis Skonseng, celebrant. Dr. Scherr died as the result of injuries involved in a motorcycle accident in Florida. Local survivors are his parents, Pius and Delphine Scherr of Valley City. Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.
